Pepper - しし唐

The shishitou pepper is often seen on kushiyaki menus. The peppers are mostly mild, however around one in ten can be spicy. We try and grill them hot and quick for a little char, then a dip in tare, and a short finish on the grill. Ideally they still have a little of their pleasing crunchy texture left when you eat them.
